Energy Theatre was created in 2001 in AthensGreece by Depi Mavropoulou.

It is an experiential acting training method, which combines improvisation, physical theatre, and incorporates Western body psychotherapeutic methods (among others: Wilhelm Reich’s Character Analysis – Vegetotherapy) and Eastern therapeutic techniques.

CATT presents a week long intensive in Galaxidi, Greece this July.
This master seminar for instructors, directors and actors features workshops with CATT founder Michael Devine and local professional instructor Depi Mavropoulou with Energy Theatre.

Classes run six hours a day for the full five days, but the CATT experience also offers incredible cultural activities which should not be missed.

BoxWhatBox is a specialised training and performance technique for creative artists. It focuses on about learning how to unlearn and relearning how to play in a creative and productive manner. This approach incorporates exercises and games which Michael Divine has developed along his approaches taken from the work of great artists such as Spolin, Boal, Brecht, Grotowski, Stanislawski, and others, but is especially close in orientation to that of Eugenio Barba and Odin Teatret. The work is intensely physical and the artists are trained to be creative leaders in rehearsal or production situation.

In this workshop we will experience what Energy Theatre is, through our thoughts, bodies, senses, sensations, emotions, and feelings.
